Here’s a new Muxtape up on my soundcloud.
The cover art is a street snapshot captured during my vacation in Taipei last year. From the kid’s facial expression, she seems uncomfortable and needed the attention of her caregivers, but they were rather busy with shopping! In my eyes, it looks like the kid and her tuck in teddy bear are both in the same awkward, funny situation.
As for the connection of the cover art with the music in this mixset, there’s a genre of music called “Trap” which is pretty hyped up in the underground EDM right now. It’s nothing revolutionary…just a hybrid of Rave, HipHop, Dutch sounds and Dubstep. I had fun playing the tunes out at a party last weekend. Hopefully, you’ll enjoy listening to it just as much.
